1. The City of Newark is currently accepting bids for the CSO 1006 & CSO 1013 Modification Project. See the link below to view the Advertisement for Bids. 2. In accordance with Ordinance 06-19 the stormwater rates will change as indicated below: Year Rate/ERU/Month Effective Date | 2009 | $5.50 | 1/1/2009 | | 2010 | $6.00 | 1/1/2010 | | 2011 | $6.25 | 1/1/2011 | | 2012 | $6.50 | 1/1/2012 |
3. The Newark Water Department Sewer Rate will increase as of January 1, 2010 in accordance with Ordinance 08-25. The rate will increase the Administrative charge to $4.43/Account, the Commodity charge to $1.12/Consumption (100Ft3), and the Debt Service charge to $.14/Consumption (100Ft3) for 3 or less cons/month or $.93/Consumption (100Ft3) for over 4 or more cons/month. The minimum bill will increase from $20.84 to $21.77 ($.93) per month for water,sewer and stormwater.
